Hearn Apps, LLC

Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 20, 2019

What personal information we collect

- When our mobile applications are used, we use Google Firebase (and Google Analytics) to collect information on how our users are interacting with our apps. We record the frequency and nature of specific features used, settings changed, the duration and timestamp of app sessions, IP addresses, and other data on application use.

- We use technologies like cookies and unique device identifiers to identify your device so we can deliver a better experience.

- Some of our applications may use, store, and collect your precise geographic location data when the app has access to your location. This preference is managed in your phone’s privacy settings.

- None of our mobile applications send any information to us. However, we may collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us, such as your name and email address.

- If you choose to contact us for any reason (for example: a support request), you will be providing us with personal information such as your name and email address.

- We do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from, and none of our mobile applications are directed at, children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

How we use your personal information

- The personal information we collect allows us to respond to support requests and otherwise contact our users, upon request.

- We will never initiate contact with users for marketing purposes.

- We will never share your name, email address, or other contact information we may have obtained with anyone besides our support team.

- If location data is collected by an application, it is used to provide location-based services, not to identify you. You can prevent the collection of location information by adjusting the settings of your device.

- From time to time, we may use your personal information to send important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. Because this information is important to your interaction with Hearn Apps, LLC, you may not opt out of receiving these communications.

- We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as analytics, data analysis, and research to improve our products, services, and customer communications.

- With your permission, some of our mobile applications in North America may collect and pass to our partner, Sense360. Some of our apps may transmit precise geolocation and other information linked to your mobile device or advertising identifiers, and may do so when you use the app or when the app runs in the background on your device. This information may be used by our partners to customize ads, and also may be used for market or other research regarding aggregated traffic patterns. The way this information is used by Sense360 is explained here: https://sense360.com/privacy/. If you do not want this information to be linked to your device, then you can go to your device settings and opt out of interest-based or personalized advertising. You can also prevent your location from being collected through your device settings (but this may affect the functionality of certain app features).

- The information collected by Google Firebase (including Google Analytics and Google Admob) is protected by Google’s privacy policy. Details can be found here: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/

Ways we disclose and share the information we collect

- We share information we collect with third-party business partners who commit to comply with applicable laws concerning their usage of the information. Our third-party business partners may use the information either for themselves or on behalf of their own business partners to (1) operate and improve their services, (2) provide you with advertisements and information for products and services or send you other notifications based on variables such as your location, and assess your level of engagement with them, and (3) carry out other purposes that are disclosed to you and to which you consent.
